Introduction

 

Welcome to St Andrews Bowling Club, North Somerset, in the sea-side Town of Weston super Mare.  

We are a mixed bowling club, the Bowling Club is in the middle of a built-up area on a secure site with its own car park which holds up to 40 cars and has space for a coach to park.

We have a seven rink outdoor green and a three rink indoor facility, both with full access for disabled bowlers.

 

The outdoor membership is between 50 to 60 men and approximately 30 ladies.  Both outdoor clubs enjoy a full summer programme with friendly matches, League matches and Cup competitions. The indoor membership is around 200 : in addtion to inter club fixtures various league formats are played throughout the winter weeks.

 

Each season we welcome tourists teams from various parts of the Uk.  We also welcome non-playing members, who enjoy the benefit of our full and varied social programme. 

 

The club has facilities for disabled bowlers and blind / visually impaired bowlers.

 

We have a great clubhouse and have many of social events over the season.

 

After every friendly or competitive match we always meet at the 22nd end in the clubhouse for a drink and a chat.

Come and spend a day with us at Weston-super-Mare by the sea, the ladies will enjoy the shops, and the men can have a donkey ride on the beach.
